Nuclear Medicine
Nuclear medicine is a branch of medical imaging that uses small amounts of radioactive material to diagnose and determine the severity of heart disease and other abnormalities. Nuclear medicine is able to pinpoint molecular activity within the heart and offer the potential to identify disease or abnormalities in its earliest stages. Sonography
Ultrasonography, commonly known as echocardiography when viewing the heart, is an ultrasound test performed by using sound waves to create an image. The images determine the size of the heart, strength of the heart muscles, presence of heart diseases, and heart valve malfunctions.
